Award Ceremony „Fluidtronic Students Award“ 2025

The Dresden Association for the Promotion of Fluid Technology (Dresdner Verein zur Förderung der Fluidtechnik e. V.) presents the “Fluidtronic Students Award” once a year.  Following a thorough evaluation by a panel of experts of all nominated student projects and theses from 2025, the following recipients have been selected as the winners:

Mr. Paul Böttig, Dipl.-Ing., for his diploma thesis “CFD Simulation of Cavitation in an Internal Gear Pump and Validation Based on Experimental Results”

and

Ms. Nan Sheng, Dipl.-Ing., for her research paper “Energy-Efficient Semi-Automated Material Handling”

Both projects are based on current research projects at the Chair of Fluid-Mechatronic Systems Engineering and were completed there.

The award ceremony, which only Mr. Böttig was able to attend, took place on April 15, 2026, during the lecture “Fluid Engineering Components and Systems.”
