CFLab at bauma 2025: VR Experience Inspires Trade Fair Visitors
At the Heart of Innovation: Hall LAB0
bauma 2025 attracted around 600,000 visitors to Munich and once again proved its status as the world's leading trade fair for the construction industry. Right in the middle of it all: the CFLab - located in the innovation hall LAB0, alongside the Science Hub, Startup Area, and MiC4.0. There, the team presented a custom-developed VR experience that took visitors on an immersive journey into the future of construction.
What was showcased
The virtual application offered insights into the key themes of bauma 2025 – topics that were also central to the industry as a whole:
-
Alternative drive concepts
-
Connected construction
-
Sustainable construction
In an immersive environment, visitors could experience how these themes might look on the construction site of tomorrow – from emission-free machinery to intelligent site logistics and resource-efficient building methods.
Presentation on interoperability
Another highlight: CFLab colleague Benjamin Beck spoke in the forum in Hall B0 on "The Need for Interoperability" – a compelling case for open standards and connected systems that are essential for the future of construction.
Our congratulations
We congratulate the entire CFLab team on this successful trade fair appearance! The numerous conversations and new connections demonstrate that there is strong demand for practical, future-proof solutions for the construction transition. We are proud that our spin-off was able to provide important impulses – and look forward to continued collaboration!
