Module Motion-Guided Machine Systems – Basic
This is an application module for the Diplom programme Mechatronics. It lays the foundation for the module Motion-Guided Machine Systems – Advanced.
This lecture contains:
- Identifying characteristic functions, requirements and technical solutions of motion-guided machine systems,
- Realisation of transformative and machining processing and tool and component handling processes,
- Identify mechatronic system character and its development potential,
- Main assemblies of drive, control and frame systems of machine tools as well as their typical sub-functions and the concurrence of mechanical, electrical and information processing components,
- Specification, choice and dimensioning of main assemblies, identifying and assessing of functionally relevant system behaviour.
The module is offered every academic year during the winter semester and 7 credit points can be acquired. The module grade consists of the examination grade.
