Theses, diploma theses, internships
Due to the variety of research activities and industrial cooperations at the Chair of Machine Elements, interesting topics are constantly being assigned for thesis and diploma theses in the fields of drive technology, transmission technology, operational stability, simulation of drive trains as well as stress analyses using FEM and BEM. Depending on the task, the work may be theoretical, experimental or a combination of both.
We maintain good contacts to companies in the mechanical engineering, plant construction and vehicle construction sectors as well as to suppliers working in these sectors. As a result, a later internship or paid working student activity with the respective companies is quite possible. We make mechanical engineering to touch, but on special request we also remain virtual.
Detailed information on the internship and the interdisciplinary project work, tasks for the research internship and diploma theses as well as a guideline for the preparation of student theses at the chair are provided in the OPAL.
