Christian Wölfel, Ph.D., is a trained industrial designer, researcher and lecturer at the Center for Industrial Design at Technische Universität Dresden, Germany. His research interests include, among others, user experience in professional domains. His own design practice focuses on industrial goods and medical devices. He teaches design fundamentals and design theory. In 2014, he made a research excursion into design history.
