Progress in the "Agralyzer" project
After a good year of project duration and continuous exchange with our two agricultural partner farms, it was time for another on-site meeting on the 27th January 2026.
At the Gutshof Raitzen, the Agralyzer consortium consisting of TU Dresden - Chair of Agricultural Systems Technology and Wille Engineering presented the current status of work and discussed the initial results with the farm managers. It was shown how comprehensively data from the respective source systems "field database" and "machine management system" can already be extracted and calculated into important parameters for operational controlling despite the lack of manufacturer interfaces (API). A click dummy and the live demo of the Agralyzer dashboard provided the ideal basis for discussion with the farm managers for early evaluation of visualized key performance indicators (KPIs). The focus was on analyzing the associated concrete use cases and decision-making processes and the optimal forms of presentation. The prioritization of machine costs and unit costs as KPIs in the "time and cost tracking" work package was confirmed once again. In addition, the processes for the work packages "Detailed yield tracking - site-specific" and "Detailed yield tracking - weighing management" were analyzed in depth in order to map useful KPIs in the Agralyzer hub and dashboard in the future.
The project team received valuable feedback and detailed insight into specific operational features from the practice partners. The farmers reflected the considerable manual effort required to date to provide decision-relevant key figures as well as a great willingness to adapt processes and the desire to link the Agralyzer offering with advisory services. Thanks to the great project team, our dedicated partners from Ingenieurbüro Dr. Christian Linke, IAK Agrar Consulting GmbH and the LfULG and the excellent cooperation with the partner companies. We look forward to the next project update with you in March!
Agralyzer is funded by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Home Affairs (BMLEH ) and supported by the Federal Office for Agriculture and Food (BLE).
Thank you once again for the great support!
