Modern Techniques in Biotechnology

The students will get some knowledge and skills for understanding and handling modern moleculobiological methods. Topics are for example: chromatpgraphy (HPLC, GC), Flow-Cytometry, Fluorescent in situ hybridization ( FISH), Polymerase chain reaction (PCR).

Workload and audience

• 2 weekly lecture hours lecture in the summer semester
• obligatory for bioprocess engineers
