Planning of biotechnological plants
The lecture imparts basic knowledge about the formal description of automation elements using standards. In addition, the students will be introduced to the electrial measuring and control (EMSR) of plant, the dimensioning of automation means, the event discreete process design and the planning with and without auxiliary energy.
The lecture ist accompanied by a practical which comprises of the compilation of piping and instrumentation diagrams as well as writing a standardized specifications sheet.
Workload and audience
- 2 weekly lecture hours in the summer semester (lecture and practical)
- optional for bioprocess engineers
