Stephan Pfeiffer received the Hans Joachim Boekstegers Award 2024 for his thesisThe ceremony took place at FACHPACK (European Trade Fair for Packaging, Technology and Processes) and the Multivac company sponsored 1000€ prize money.
In his thesis "Construction of a test rig for in-situ identification of the processing window of polymer films", Stephan Pfeiffer used among other methods the oszillation of polar molecular components in an alternating electric field to determine the material characteristics of plastic films.
He is now continuing this research as a Research Associate at the Chair of Processing Machines/ Processing Technology at TU Dresden.
