Where do we encounter biotechnology in everyday life? What do the producers look like under the magnifying glass and what will the laboratory of the future look like? We will take you on a fascinating scientific journey on the following topics: "Insights into synthetic biology for the production of valuable materials" - "Glass algae factory" - "Fungi - the hidden realm between plants and animals" - "The smart laboratory of the future". Come along and immerse yourself in a world between technology and biology. From exhibits on current research topics, to hands-on experiments and a small "soldering course" for children, there is something for all young and old researchers.

From molecular biology to fungi, algae and plant cell culture to the development of smart sensor systems, the Chair of Bioprocess Engineering conducts research on a wide range of exciting topics. The Chair's research groups present themselves with exhibits and exciting experiments.
