Preisverleihung der Teekanne-Stiftung 2020
Übergabe des Teekannepreises. v.l.n.r Prof Majschak, Prof Kästner, Martin Guist (Preisträger) und Prof. Wallmersperger
On 08.06.2021 Mr. Martin Guist was awarded the prize of the Teekanne Foundation. The foundation was established in 2007 by Teekanne GmbH & Co KG at the TU Dresden with the aim to support education and training in the field of processing machines. The award criterion was the best grade in the 3rd semester exam in the field of Strength of Materials Theory, in order to motivate students in the demanding phase of acquiring fundamental knowledge that remains so essential for mechanical engineering.
The award is given to the student of aerospace engineering Mr. Martin Guist and took place during the online lecture of the subject Strength of Materials I. The presentation of the certificate and the associated prize money was carried out by Prof. Majschak holder of the professorship for processing machines / processing technology together with Prof. Kästner holder of the professorship for numerical and experimental solid mechanics and Prof. Wallmersperger holder of the professorship for mechanics of multifunctional structures, who each read the Strength of Materials Theory in alternation.
