On May 10, Mr. Ngo, Minh Quang was awarded the prize of the Teekanne Foundation for the best result in the basic training on technical mechanics. The foundation was already established in 2007 by Teekanne GmbH & Co KG at TU Dresden with the aim to promote education and training in the field of processing machines. As with previous awards, the award criterion was the best grade in the 3rd semester exam paper in the field of strength of materials, which Mr. Ngo completed with a grade of 1.0.
The award was presented to Mr. Ngo in the auditorium of the lecture hall center during the lecture of the subject of strength of materials. The presentation of the certificate and the associated prize money was carried out by Prof. Majschak holder of the professorship for processing machines/processing technology together with Prof. Kästner holder of the professorship for numerical and experimental solid mechanics and Prof. Wallmersperger holder of the professorship for mechanics of multifunctional structures, who each took turns lecturing on the strength of materials theory.
