Wood and Fibre Materials Technology
The Chair of Wood Technology and Fiber Materials Technology, including the Paper Technology working group, is unique in Germany as it covers both the production of materials and the entire materials processing chain right through to the finished product (furniture, construction elements, packaging and other products from the wood and paper industry and related sectors). In addition, composite materials that are not based on wood or lignocellulosic materials are also researched and developed. Research is currently carried out by five interdisciplinary research and working groups.
