Who can apply:
Students who have submitted their diploma thesis and/or their proof of industrial internship (module MB-23 from IY12, module MB-20 from IY19) and/or research internship (module MB-24 from IY12; module MB-21 from IY19) in the period from 01.10.2024 to 30.09.2025. The date of submission is relevant (without possible extension).
How to apply:
Submission of a five-page presentation (Powerpoint/ PDF) with topic, author, task, content (procedure, focus of work), result, significance for science, economy and/ or society and an abstract (1/2 page text on A4) in German or English.
When is the closing date:
16.01.2026
What can you win?
Prize for the best thesis: 1000 euros plus certificate
Prizes for the best dissertations: 500 euros each plus certificate
This year, the prizes will be awarded in May at interpack 2026 - interpack - SIMPLY UNIQUE, the leading global trade fair for the packaging industry in Düsseldorf with several thousand exhibitors. Tthousand exhibitors, placed on the stage for innovations in cooperation with the German Engineering Federation VDMA.
