­New publication: Designing work systems according to ergonomic principles

Prof. Schmauder has published a chapter on the design of work systems according to ergonomic principles in the Handbook of Corporate Organization. This chapter deals with the basic requirements for a humane work design, including the ergonomic design of workplaces, work tasks and work environments as well as the consideration of human performance and stress requirements in the context of occupational health and safety.
