New publication: How do exoskeletons affect picking efficiency?
In our latest publication, we report on laboratory studies investigating how passive trunk-supporting exoskeletons affect efficiency in manual order picking. Our results show that such exoskeletons tend to increase the duration of both primary activities (e.g. lifting and carrying) and secondary activities (e.g. walking, bending). This highlights important considerations that companies should take into account when using such technologies in logistics.
