­Publication: How does techno-stress differ between different job groups?

This publication examines how the stress caused by digital technologies differs between basic work, skilled work and highly skilled work. The results show that the highest exposure to technology occurs in highly skilled work, followed by basic work and then skilled work. The type of technology used also plays an important role here: the use of innovative technologies, which is more common in highly skilled work, is associated with higher techno strain, while established office technologies, which are mainly used in skilled work, tend to have a relieving effect.
