Successful defense of the dissertation by Dr.-Ing. Ann-Malin Schmidt
On December 16, 2024, Dr. Ann-Malin Schmidt defended her dissertation entitled "Novel Methodologies for Digital Investigations of Clothing-Body-Interactions - Advancing Development of Tightly Fitted Clothing using 4D Scan Data and Finite Element Analysis based on deformable Human Body Models" under the chairmanship of Prof. Pfifer (Institute of Aerospace Engineering) at the Institute of Textile Machinery and High Performance Material Technology (ITM) at TU Dresden.

The doctoral thesis was reviewed by Prof. Kyosev (ITM) and Prof. Kaiser (Albstadt-Sigmaringen University of Applied Sciences). Prof. Cherif (ITM) acted as examiner. Prof. Schmauder (Institute of Material Handling and Industrial Engineering) was also a member of the doctoral committee.
