On April 15, 2024, Dr.-Ing. Dominik Nuss defended his dissertation "New Processes for the Integral Production of Shell-shaped Fabric Structures: Technology, Method and Machine Development", which he wrote at the Institute of Textile Machinery and High Performance Material Technology at TU Dresden, under the chairmanship of Prof. Paetzold-Byhain (TU Dresden, Institute of Machine Elements and Machine Design).

The doctoral thesis was reviewed by Prof. Cherif (ITM) and Prof. Ficker (Hof University of Applied Sciences). Prof. Kyosev (ITM) and Prof. Modler (TU Dresden, Institute of Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology) accompanied the doctoral process as assessors.
