Successful defense of the dissertation by Dr.-Ing. Philipp Köhler

On September 23, 2024, Dr.-Ing. Philipp Köhler successfully defended his dissertation on "Development and evaluation of carbon fibers based on melt-spun filaments made of polyvinyl alcohol" at the Institute of Textile Machinery and High Performance Material Technology (ITM) at TU Dresden. The defense was chaired by Prof. Maik Gude (Chair of Lightweight System Engineering and Multi-Material Design, TU Dresden).
The dissertation was reviewed by Prof. Chokri Cherif (ITM), Prof. Florian Puch (Thuringian Institute for Textile and Plastics Research Rudolstadt e.V.) and Prof. Steffen Fischer (Institute of Plant and Wood Chemistry, TU Dresden). Prof. Yordan Kyosev (ITM) acted as assessor.
