Successful completion of the habilitation of Dr.-Ing. habil. Anwar Abdkader
On January 27, 2025, Dr.-Ing. habil. Anwar Abdkader successfully completed his habilitation procedure at the Faculty of Mechanical Science and Engineering, Institute of Textile Machinery and High Performance Material Technology (ITM) at TU Dresden under the chairmanship of Prof. Thomas Wallmersperger (TU Dresden, Institute of Solid Mechanics). As part of his habilitation, he dealt with the topic of "Technologies for the development of sustainable composite structures based on recycled and renewable fiber materials".

The expert reports were prepared by Prof. Chokri Cherif (TU Dresden, ITM), Prof. André Wagenführ (TU Dresden, Institute of Natural Materials Technology) and Prof. Frank Ficker (Hof University of Applied Sciences). Other members of the habilitation committee were Prof. Dr.-Ing. Niels Modler (TU Dresden, Institute of Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology), Prof. Dr. Gianaurelio Cuniberti (TU Dresden, Institute of Materials Science), Prof. Yordan Kyosev (TU Dresden, ITM) and Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil.
