Successful completion of the habilitation of Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Lars Hahn

On August 29, 2024, Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Lars Hahn successfully completed his habilitation procedure at the Faculty of Mechanical Science and Engineering, Institute of Textile Machinery and High Performance Material Technology (ITM) at TU Dresden under the chairmanship of Prof. Thomas Schmidt (TU Dresden, Institute of Material Handling and Industrial Engineering). As part of his habilitation, he dealt with the topic of "Technologies for multi-axial load-adapted, textile high-performance structures with a high degree of prefabrication for use in fiber composites".

The expert reports were prepared by Prof. Chokri Cherif (TU Dresden, ITM), Prof. Christina Scheffler (Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden e. V.) and Prof. Maike Rabe (Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences). Other members of the habilitation committee were Prof. Yordan Kyosev (TU Dresden, ITM), Prof. Viktor Mechtcherine (TU Dresden, Institute of Construction Materials), Prof. Steffen Marx (TU Dresden, Institute of Concrete Structures) and Ms. Sybille Krzywinski (TU Dresden, ITM).
