National pilot phase Tex 4.0

On September 16, 2025, the Chair of Development and Assembly of Textile Products (ITM) at TU Dresden hosted the national pilot event for the Erasmus+ project "Enabling Industry 4.0 Skills in Textile SMEs" - Tex 4.0 (Agreement No. 2023-1-DE02-KA220-VET-000154009) .
The project aims to develop a future-oriented curriculum that supports trainers and learners in textile vocational training in the introduction and application of new technologies.
During the event, Prof. Olena Kyzymchuk and Univ.-Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Yordan Kyosev presented the goals and expected results of the project, presented the learning platform1 and gave an overview of the newly developed courses.
Particular attention was paid to two special courses developed at TU Dresden:

• Robotics
• Automation of tasks and processes in the textile industry

These resources are an important step towards equipping the textile sector with the skills required for the transformation to Industry 4.0.
