Research through exchange

On Thursday, January 29, 2026, we had the pleasure of welcoming guests from the Dresden Deaf Association to the Chair of Assembly Technology for Textile Products.
As part of a motion analysis study, participants took part in scans conducted in our scan laboratory. The aim of the research is to gain a deeper understanding of movement patterns in sign language communication and to use these insights to further improve comfort and ergonomics in clothing design.
We sincerely thank all participants for their interest, trust, and the open and inspiring exchange. We are very much looking forward to continuing this collaboration.
