Connecting Innovation at the 9th International Technical Textiles Congress in Izmir, Türkiye!

Our team from the Chair of Development and Assembly of Textile Products was delighted to take part in the 9th International Technical Textiles Congress (ITTC9), held from October 17–18, 2025 in Izmir.
A heartfelt thank you to the Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Textile Engineering Department — especially to Prof. Dr. Ümit Halis Erdoğan and Prof. Dr. Gökhan Erkan — for the excellent organization, inspiring sessions, and warm hospitality. The congress once again proved to be a truly global platform for sharing innovations and new techniques in Technical Textiles, connecting academia, industry, and civil society.
🎤 We are proud that Professor Yordan Kyosev contributed as a Keynote Speaker, offering insights into current trends and future directions in textile product development.
🧵 Additionally, Professor Olena Kyzymchuk presented her research on textile-based tactile warning systems, showcasing novel approaches to smart and responsive textile technologies.
It was a great pleasure to exchange ideas, strengthen collaborations, and explore the future of textile engineering together.
