Carbon fibres from nature - the RCCF-Imageclip

At the Research Center Carbon Fibers Saxony TU Dresden’s scientists explore novel carbon fibres for the implementation in automobile manufacture, aviation and aerospace technology, in construction as well as in the medical and sport equipment technology. The unique feature is that the new carbon fibers are based on renewable raw materials. At the RCCF scientists from the Institute of Textile Machinery and High Performance Material Technology (ITM) and TU Dresden’s Institute of Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology work together.
