Research Experience Program

The Research Experience Program is an exclusive, competitive and excellent program for selected partner universities. It offers senior undergraduate and graduate students from Canada, New Zealand, Singapore and the USA the opportunity to gain cutting-edge research experience in a wide variety of scientific fields. Participants will work with doctoral students, scientists or professors as part of ongoing research projects at TU Dresden.

Program overview

Multiple disciplines possible: Engineering, Science, Arts and Social Science
Language: English
Flexible timing: from 4 to 12 weeks (preferred between mid-May and mid-August)
Individual supervision due to small groups, including cultural experience
Application process: Students apply directly to our partner universities. These universities send a shortlist of their most promising applicants to the International Office by December/January each year. In February/March, the International Office contacts the participating departments with suitable candidates. The departments then make the final decision on whether they wish to supervise the students.
