The Research Experience Program is an exclusive and competitive partnership program for selected institutions outside the European Union. It offers bachelor and master students from Australia, Canada, Israel, New Zealand, South Africa, and the USA the opportunity to gain first-class research experience with a selection from a wide range of subjects. The participants work together with doctoral students, scientists, and/or professors in current research projects at TU Dresden.
The DAAD program “Eastern Partnerships” strengthens and promotes partnership relations with universities in Central Eastern, Eastern, and Southeastern Europe as well as the countries of the South Caucasus and Central Asia. The “Eastern Partnerships” contribute to the development of international relations through education and research, to the dissemination and promotion of the German language abroad, and to crisis and conflict management.
Funding is available for shorter study and research stays. The purpose of the stay is to strengthen or initiate cooperation between (junior) scientists of TU Dresden and the partner universities in Central and Eastern Europe. In addition, research-related work may be conducted in archives, university libraries, and university-affiliated institutes during the stay.
