The next introductory seminar of the TUD Global Citizenship Certificate Program will take place on June 13 and 14, 2025 at the COSMO Science Forum at Dresden's Altmarkt!

GCC is a qualification program for all students, PhD candidates and exchange students of TU Dresden with a focus on intercultural competences, global-local engagement and global citizenship education. The certificate program comprises the 4 modules Knowledge, Civic Engagement, Practice@Home and Mobility. Further information on the program structure can be found here.

Registration for the mandatory introductory event "Global Citizenship Lab" in collaboration with Center for Teacher Education and Educational Research (ZLSB) is open via OPAL until June 01, 2025. 1 ECTS can be acquired via studium generale. Teacher training students can find further information via the catalog of supplementary studies and gain 2 ECTS credits upon successful completion of written and oral examinations. Registration for the program is now open via the website. Generally, participation in the TUD Global Citizenship Lab is also possible without registering for the program.

The motto for the lab in the summer semester is Global Citizenship Education - "Partnership and Participation". From various perspectives, we will dive into local-global challenges, sustainability skills, cooperation in the civil society and scientific context as well as civic engagement. The event also offers an opportunity to network with students and stakeholders from a wide range of disciplines and organizations.
