At the TUD|Schreibzentrum - The Writing Center of TUD (SZD) you can find information and help concerning academic reading and writing. The SZD supports students and lecturers with offers such as
- planning and writing various study texts, such as protocols, seminar papers or theses
- and teaching academic writing and reading in seminars, lectures and supervision.
Underlying all of our offerings is an understanding of academic writing competence, which is divided into two broad areas:
- understanding the text (What should be written?) and
- shaping the writing process (How does it succeed?).
