The employees of the Patent Information Centre (PIZ) support scientists from Technische Universität Dresden with information and training offers. Already on 18 April 2018, the well-known series on the subject of technical property rights (patents and utility models) will be continued. Matthias Knöbel, lecturer and head of the Patent Information Centre, will be introducing the subject of technical property rights, the timing of the patent procedure, property rights in other countries, European and PCT patents, the structure of a patent specification and other topics. The meeting point will be in Zellescher Weg 19, Andreas Schubert building, 1^st floor, seminar room 114, on 18 April. The course will take place from 14:00 to 17:30.

The second part of the event series on 2 May 2018 will address patent searches. On 16 May 2018, the subject of non-technical property rights (brands and designs) will be discussed in part III. During the events, individual problems and questions pertaining to the area of property rights can be addressed.
