Travel Grants
Both ICOM-UMAC and UNIVERSEUM offer a limited number of travel grants for conference participants.
UNIVERSEUM Travel Grants
The UNIVERSEUM Board is able to offer a limited number of travel grants to UNIVERSEUM members (including postgraduate students and researchers working with university collections and academic heritage professionals) who haven’t been able to secure financial support from their hosting organization. We will prioritize applicants whose proposal (for either a poster or a talk) to present at the conference has been accepted.

Applications should include
- A letter of motivation explaining their interest in the conference (max. 500 words)
- a short CV (max. 250 words)

ICOM-UMAC Travel Grants
The UMAC Board will offer a limited number of travel grants to UMAC members who haven’t been able to secure financial support from their hosting institution. Two types of award will be offered.
1.
An award of up to €1000 per person (to be paid as a reimbursement after submission of invoices)
2.
An award of up to €350 euro each for students (to be paid as a reimbursement after submission of invoices)
Application guidelines
Your application should include the following:
- letter of motivation explaining your interest in the conference (max. 500 words)
- a short CV (max. 250 words)
Eligibility
Preference will be given to participants from level 3-5 countries; see ICOM country categories here.
An accepted contribution to the program (talk) is a precondition for a grant.
Recipients of financial support from UNIVERSEUM to attend the Dresden conference will not be eligible for ICOM-UMAC support.
