Apr 23, 2026; Workshop
Girls´Day
During the Girls’ Day 2026 at TUD, you’ll experience science up close and discover what you’re capable of! In exciting workshops on computer science, materials science, and environmental science, you’ll gain real insight into academic studies and research alongside female scientists. Get involved, try things out, ask questions and maybe discover your new favorite subject!
There’s also a workshop for those interested in medicine:
See what usually remains hidden – hands-on medical technology
Do you want to know what technology doctors use to look inside the abdomen, perform keyhole surgery, and try it out yourself on a simulator? Then you’ve come to the right place. At the Else Kröner Fresenius Center for Digital Health (EKFZ), you’ll dive into the world of medical technology, get hands-on experience, and learn how research helps make medical technology even better. Discover how a gastroscopy (endoscopy) and keyhole surgeries (laparoscopy) work. Test your skills on endoscopy and laparoscopy simulators. We’ll also explain and demonstrate the technology used in the clinic and the challenges involved in further developing the devices. Join us and discover just how exciting medical technology is!
