TUD Family festival

On Thursday, September 17, 2026, TUD invites students and staff with families to a lively family festival in the courtyard of the Fritz-Foerster Building from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The diverse program hopefully has something for everyone:

• From the robot dog SPOT to the “Katze Q” gaming lounge – science comes to life in a playful way here.
• The band “Zugabe,” the interactive circus “Chaos,” and the TUD Children’s and Youth Dance Studio will keep the mood lively.
• There will be plenty of opportunities to get active, too: The University Sports Center will provide sports and play equipment, and the university fire department invites you to try its target spraying challenge, including a peek inside the fire truck.
• With a children’s clothing swap, photo booth, face painting, craft station, wheel of fortune, and information booths, it’s sure to be an eventful afternoon.
• Whether you’re a little or very hungry, we’ve got you covered. Look forward to a delicious selection of food and drinks.
