Review of the SaxoN symposium on 07.05.2025

On 7 May 2025, the 9th SaxoN meeting took place as an online event under the title ‘Together into the future - improving patient care through research’.

Mr Bleckwenn presented various solutions for better patient care in relation to research in GP practices. Ms Klein and Ms Schrimpf then took stock of the successes and achievements of the research practice network to date. Ms Voigt took a look into the future, presenting research needs for the future of patient care and engaging in an active exchange with the participants. Which care topics should definitely be researched? What would motivate you to conduct research with us? - are two questions that were answered during the event. Afterwards, together with her colleague from Leipzig, Ms Annett Bräsigk, she promoted participation in research projects. The benefits of participation for practices and patients were explained in more detail and current and planned projects were presented.
