E-learning gems 2024 awarded: Two prizes for the Faculty of Medicine
The E-Learning-Schmuckstück competition entered its fifth round in 2024. Almost 1,200 associate members of TU Dresden voted for their favorites from the wide range of (partially) digital teaching/learning scenarios. A total of 24 nominated e-learning gems from the winter semester 2023/24 and the summer semester 2024 were up for election in three categories.
As part of the networking meeting of the DLL and FOSTER funding programs on 31.01.2025, the three events with the most votes were ceremoniously named the best e-learning gems of 2024.
Congratulations to the winners, who can each look forward to €2000 in prize money:
- Dr. Ken Marvin Verhees: Moodle course "General Medicine in the Practical Year" (category courses with up to 30 students)
- Dr.-Ing. Iris Vogt: Construction of existing buildings (category courses with 31 to 100 students)
- Prof. h.c. Dr. Verena Barth: Latin-Greek terminology for medical and dental students (category courses with over 100 students)
Insights into the concepts of these and all other courses can still be found in the Schmuckstück-Galerie 2024.
