TUneD into Medical Science: From research to successful publication
Studierende
As part of the new event series “TUneD into Medical Science”, Nobel Prize Laureate Prof. Thomas Südhof, Director of the Center for Molecular Neuroscience in Health and Disease at Stanford University School of Medicine (USA), will be visiting the Faculty of Medicine at TU Dresden from October 9 to 11.
On October 9, students and young scientists will have the unique opportunity to gain valuable insights into the research process - from the initial idea to publication - in the lecture hall of the Center for Regenerative Therapies at TU Dresden (CRTD).
Students will present three scientific papers from different decades of Nobel Prize Laureate Professor Thomas Südhof's research activities and discuss with him how innovative research can be turned into a successful publication.
During the discussion, you will also have the opportunity to ask your own questions and be inspired by the experiences of a Nobel Prize Laureate. The event thus offers an ideal platform for anyone who would like to delve deeper into the world of research and publication.
