On the basis of these guidelines, the following two ombudspersons (persons of confidence) were instated for the School of Medicine:
They are contact person, counsellor and mediator in all suspected cases of scientific misconduct.
In case of a reasonable suspicion of scientific misconduct, it is examined by the ombudsperson (person of confidence) or in cases where the misconduct is related to academic examinations (e.g. bachelor-, master-, Diplom examinations) or graduations (doctoral graduation, habilitation graduation) by the responsible regular examination body provided by the respective examination and graduation regulations.
