Summer School 2026
In direct preparation for the on-site visit to review the proposal for continuation, students and project leaders from the group gathered in Dresden in June for the annual summer school. The Dean of the IoPPN at King's, Matthew Hotopf, was there as a guest speaker and took the opportunity to film a promotional video for the visit.
This year, the Summer School was organized in conjunction with the meeting of the ECNP Bipolar Disorders Network. Numerous experts—not only from the UK, but also from Denmark, Turkey, the U.S., Spain, Canada, Sweden, and Italy—spoke on topics such as emotion processing and regulation, dementia and affective disorders, the use of large language models, and the organization of care.
