Find from Australia

The book "Thoughts on Great Art" (Gedanken über große Kunst) by the Dresden physician and namesake of the medical faculty, Carl Gustav Carus, has been located in Adelaide, Australia by an employee of our partner university. Dr. Ingrid Muenstermann, a casual academic at Flinders University, came across the wartime edition from 1943 during a move in May of this year.

To celebrate the long-standing partnership between the two universities, she sent the book to the Department for Development and International Affairs of the medical faculty. It was handed over to the Saxon State Library on the 10th of October 2021 and can now be found in their catalog.
