Travel for science & Keep on track program
Click here to fill in applications for "Travel for science" or "Keep on track."
In 2026, it is possible again to submit applications for travel expenses and student assistant funding.
As part of the "Travel for science" program, the Carl Gustav Carus Faculty of Medicine provides additional funding to support early-career researchers with travel expenses to attend conferences.
With the "Keep on Track" funding, doctoral candidates in medicine receive follow-up funding after the release phase of their doctorate. A SHK position enables the continued connection to a scientific working group, the targeted completion of a high-quality doctorate and the preparation of the first publications.
Detailed information on how to apply can be found in the call for applications.
