These include research and development tasks, concrete teaching and training offers as well as organizational and administrative processes. Staff Unit "Didactics and Teaching Research

The staff unit Didactics and Teaching Research supports and advises the Deans of Studies of the Medical Faculty Carl Gustav Carus in all didactic and conceptual matters. This includes, among other things, the establishment of new teaching formats, the conception and implementation of evaluation strategies as well as the implementation of training and continuing education programs in the field of medical didactics.

Dozierendenprofessionalisierung

The "Referat Lehre", including the Dean's Office, accompanies students from the selection and enrollment process through to graduation. Within the framework of the StudentLifeCycle-Management all administrative tasks of study and teaching are bundled. You will find competent contact persons for questions regarding the organization of studies, examinations, stays abroad, e-teaching or the PJ. Quality assurance and evaluation systems ensure an optimal study process. In addition, there is advice for all situations in life during your studies.

MITZ

The main task of the MITZ is the education of students of human and dental medicine at the TU Dresden in the areas of manual and communicative basic skills. The Skills Lab and the Standardized Patients program are the main pillars of the MITZ. The learning goals and contents are developed in close cooperation with the departments and various clinics and are taught in semester-specific training programs according to the progress of the studies.
