Invitation to the 1st KIMed Network Partner Forum
AI in medicine and research – secure, networked, practical
AI applications are rapidly permeating medicine and opening up new possibilities in diagnostics, (personalized) therapy, prevention, and research. Powerful algorithms for image analysis, speech processing, and biosignal diagnostics enable medical data to be used efficiently. At the same time, the use of AI in medicine and research requires secure and trustworthy data infrastructures in order to process sensitive information in compliance with data protection regulations.
With KIMed – the network for artificial intelligence – a secure processing environment (SPE) for medical data is now to be established in Saxony. This infrastructure enables the use of large, networked data sets under strict data protection guidelines and supports the use of AI methods in medical research. The Technical University of Dresden, together with the University of Leipzig and Mittweida University of Applied Sciences, is leading the project, which brings together data-leading institutions, methodological and technical partners, and clinical researchers.
The KIMed team cordially invites you to the 1st KIMed Network Partner Forum!
The focus will be on presenting the network, facilitating professional exchange, and attracting new partners from medicine, research, and industry.
