Education and further training
The Policlinic participates in the compilation of compulsory lectures as part of the DIPOL-course "Preventive Medicine" in the Human Medicine degree program (fifth academic year).
By using techniques such as case demonstrations and case vignettes the Policlinic imparts theoretical knowledge and practical experience in the subjects of occupational medicine, social medicine and environmental medicine.
Human Medicine students can complete the 12 compulsory practical training days in the Polyclinic in order to obtain the practical training block in general medicine ["Blockpraktikum Allgemeinmedizin"]. Besides this, the Policlinic offers classes in the Preventive Medicine Course "Prevention in occupational and non-occupational settings" and in the course "Occupational Medicine and Healthcare Research" as part of the postgraduate master program Health Sciences / Public Health.
The Policlinic works closely together with the company ambulance (head: Mrs. Susanne Liebe) of the company medical service of the university hospital within the framework of a cooperation agreement. As part of this cooperation, the Policlinic is involved in further education trainings for specializations in occupational medicine.
