Who are we and what do we work on?
The Institute and Polyclinic for Occupational and Social Medicine (IPAS) belongs to the Medical Faculty of the TU Dresden and encompasses three professorships with over 20 employees.
Our institute's research is structured into six research sections, primarily focusing on prevention research. One additional working group addresses systematic reviews and guidelines across all the research sections. Learn more about our research sections by choosing a particular field of interest:

The Institute and Polyclinic for Occupational and Social Medicine (IPAS) is active in the medical course and in the advanced master's course "Health Sciences / Public Health" with a large number of courses.
As part of medical studies, the IPAS is also responsible for organizing the following courses:
Internship professional field exploration,
Evidence-based health care (EbGV) (health economics, health system, public health care) and
DIPOL: Prevention in the professional and non-professional context (preventive medicine)
