The Medical Interprofessional Training Center
The MITZ is a modern and functional simulation, teaching and learning center in which students of the Carl Gustav Carus Faculty of Medicine are prepared efficiently and practically for their future professional life. In addition to student training, the MITZ also offers further education and training programs for healthcare professionals and medical staff. It is part of the Institute for Didactics and Teaching Research in Medicine, which represents the subject of medical didactics in research and teaching. The Institute promotes active and interprofessional learning through the innovative implementation of new teaching formats, curriculum and faculty development.
