Alejandra Tomas-Catala gives the External DRS
Flier
We are excited to welcome Alejandra Tomas-Catala for our Diabetes Research Seminar next week, where she will talk about "Subcellular Signalling Architecture of the Glucagon Receptor Family"
- Date: Tuesday, 16th June
- Time: 3 PM
- Location: BCUBE (Room E73+74)
Prof Alejandra Tomas is a Professor of Cell Biology and Head of Section of Cell Biology and Functional Genomics at the Department of Metabolism, Digestion and Reproduction, Imperial College London. Her research leverages molecular cell biology, advanced imaging, targeted biosensor technology and multiomic strategies to uncover novel regulators and signalling modalities for the glucagon receptor family. By integrating pharmacology, genetics, and structural biology insights, her group has identified new pathways to modulate glucagon receptor family trafficking and signalling, offering opportunities to optimise their therapeutic potential in metabolic disease.
