PLID introduces diabetes research during WDR Maus-Türöffner-Tag 2017
More than 350 young and not so young scientifically interested guests visited the Center for Molecular and Cellular Bioengineering (CMCB) on October 3rd, 2017, where the nationwide WDR Maus-Türöffner-Tag was hosted by the IPI/PLID together with the CRTD, BIOTEC and B CUBE. The IPI/PLID and the CMCB joint this event for the first time so that from 9am to 1pm its doors were opened to children aged 5-10. While listening to short lectures, visiting information booths (such as dressing up in clean room clothes or discovering a huge eye model) and performing small experiments the kids had an excellence chance to get insights in the work of biological and medical scientists. Moreover, all children had the chance to become creative in a creative corner.
