OUR TEACHING AT A GLANCE
The Institute for Pharmacology offers lectures and seminars for human medicine, dentistry and midwifery. The central focus of our teaching philosophy is mutual respect and collegial interaction between our faculty and students.
Studies
The Institute of Pharmacology offers lectures, seminars and tutorials in the DIPOL course Pharmacotherapy for students of human medicine as well as lectures for students of dentistry and midwifery. The central pillars of our teaching philosophy are mutual appreciation and trusting as well as collegial cooperation with the students. We aim to present central aspects and content of a subject area in a clearly structured but simplified manner, discuss them with students in a problem-oriented manner and highlight their significance and importance for their future medical practice. In addition, it is particularly important to us to encourage students to take a differentiated and critical approach to scientific literature.
Further information on our courses can be found on the faculty’s ePortal.
THESES & INTERNSHIPS Medical students are given the opportunity to gain experience in the field of experimental pharmacology of the cardiovascular system as part of their doctoral theses.
In addition, internships and final theses are offered to students of natural sciences.
