Bakteriopolis - The hidden world of microbes
Bakteriopolis: The hidden world of microbes
Bakteriopolis transforms an existing TU Dresden overseas container into an interactive experience that appeals to visitors of all ages. The exhibition highlights the ubiquity of bacteria and presents their diverse abilities.
Highlights of the exhibition:
- Multicellularity in bacteria: Aspects of multicellularity in bacteria are illustrated using vivid examples such as the production of water kefir or the current-conducting functions of cable bacteria.
- Hands-on stations: Various hands-on stations, including an interactive exploration of the family tree of life, microscopy and craft activities, offer visitors of all ages an insight into the microcosm of bacteria.
